Here Is What WE Say About It
We have been using Coleman RoadTrip Grills since our 1st Expedition on El Camino Del Diablo.
The Coleman grill while being a little on the heavy side and somewhat bulky, still folds up to a fairly compact package.
An optional wheeled heavy duty ballistic nylon carry case is also available and we use those also to protect our investment while on the rough trails.
Its best features are its versatility from being able to use both sides to grill or you can purchase optional cooking tops to use one or both sides as either a standard stove burner or a griddle.
You can griddle on one side, grill on the other......use as stove on one side and grill on the other or any combination using the standard and optional cooking tops.
And we have used all of the available tops in different combinations with great success.
Cooking quality is excellent.
Pay attention to your flame settings and you can load the grill up with a bag of chicken quarters and close the lid and not have a burnt mess after 5 minutes.
Chicken, brats, steaks, burgers all come off the grill looking delicious with that tasty grilled flavor.
Bacon and eggs cook well on the optional griddles and the stove burner inserts turn the grill into a stove so that you don't have to carry both.
All in all the Coleman RoadTrip grills have been a great investment for us and we would recommend them to anyone.
Available online at Coleman.com, Walmart, Ebay and many fine stores nationwide for about $165 when on sale.
