Eco Friendly Trash Bags and Drop Cloths

EconoGreen Plastics™ bags and drop cloths are better for the planet. They cost less than comparable plastic bags and drop cloths while providing equal or better quality. It's our way of thanking you for reducing your impact on the environment. We believe that doing the right thing shouldn't cost more!

Our bags and drop cloths are not only made from recycled plastics, they are also recyclable and oxodegradable. We believe that a disposable plastic product should be engineered to degrade over time. We find it's an easy way to do our part for a healthier planet.

Made from
100% recycled plastic
100% oxodegradable
100% recyclable

These bags and drop cloths will completely break down within 2 years after use. Considerably less than traditional plastic bags.

Here Is What WE Say About It

Econogreen Trash Bags

One item that we all carry on our overland adventures is trash bags.   It is also an item that none of us wants to see fail whether it is inside or strapped outside your Jeep.

When choosing a bag for carrying out your trash and any trash you find in your travels both the size of the bag and the thickness of the material both matter.    All to often I have seen the average 1 mil thick bag leak, tear or just split open.    The problem I have found when shopping for trash bags is that the selection is great but there are very few truly heavy duty ones at the normal outlets we shop at.

Enter the Econogreen Trash Bags by Jig-A-Loo.   When I saw these at the SEMA show, it was obvious that they were not your normal “green” bag just by looking at them.   After spending a few minutes with the Jig-A-Loo representative,  I was sold.

Not only are these trash bags made from recycled material,  they are a full 3 mils thick.   Compare that to the bags you are now using.   At 42 gallons, they are more than adequate for the weekend or week long trip.  Feel the material,  take one and tug at both ends,  try to poke a hole in it with your finger and you too will be convinced.   In addition, these heavy duty bags will decompose in two years unlike many other plastic products (after you dispose of them and their contents properly at the landfill).

The good news is that you can buy these locally at Home Depot stores where I will be buying a box before my next Jeep Expedition.  Econogreen  42 gallon Tough and Ready Heavy Duty trash bags,  get yours before your next trip.  The perfect companion to one of my other SEMA TOP PICKS,  The Trasharoo.

This is the ONLY bag that I will be using from now on.   It is the perfect companion to the Trash A Roo found elsewhere in the Equipment/Gear Review Section.
