Planned Trip : Flagstaff - Cinders, lava tubes & trails - Aug 16-17, 2008

At 7000 feet, Flagstaff is a cool 80 degrees in August....just the right time to leave those 115 degree days here in the valley for a new adventure !
THIS IS A JEEP ONLY EVENT LIMITED TO MEMBERS OF THE JEEP EXPEDITIONS GROUP !
This trip will be held on August 16th and 17th, 2008. Optional camping at our base camp Friday night the 15th.
Saturday: Cinders OHV area, the Lava Tubes and other areas of interest. The sunset at Sunset Crater is sometimes spectacular. Historic ruins of ancient civilizations are in the area.
Saturday night return to basecamp for dinner and campfire.
Sunday, more trails and return home late afternoon.
All trails will be suitable for stock Jeeps, well pretty much suitable.
Bring the family and the camera.
